Dragonfire Racing Super Nessie
Dragonfire Racing is working wrench to wrench with Monster Energy Kawasaki to build the perfect hybrid racecar with the goal of competing in major off-road races starting in 2011.
Called the Dragonfire Racing Super Nessie, this new vehicle (pictured to the left and below) sits on the same chassis as DFR’s current Nessie, but with a different motor and a prototype Dragonfire Racing CVT transmission, enabling the Super Nessie to feature all-wheel drive, a low center of gravity and 200 horsepower.
In addition, this one-of-a-kind vehicle is highlighted by 30-inch BFG tires, providing additional ground clearance that is a must when running speed off-road. And when we say running speed, we’re talking more than 110 mph. Super Nessie weights in at 1,800 pounds, and with a 180-mile fuel range, it’s the perfect off-road contender.
