DragonFire Puts the XP 955 Big Bore Kit to the Speed Test

As we all know, when it comes to the accuracy of dyno tests performed on UTVs, it’s usually more of a miss than a hit. That’s because the CVT-style clutch on a UTV makes it very difficult to get a true reading of the horsepower created by the machine.

So when it comes to making a determination about the performance of your ride, we here at DragonFire Racing like to employ the more scientific approach — a little test we call “the seat of your pants feel.” It’s based on the academic disciplines of physics that include the adage “Increased horsepower is only worth it if you feel it.” Actually, we just made all that up. What we really did was stage an informal race in a parking lot (with help from AZ Rentals & More) and we shot footage of it:

Since the release of the Polaris Ranger RZR XP 900, we’ve been hard at work designing performance and other products to make this car blow past your expectations — and your competition. Rather than just tell you the power we can make, we decided to show you.

What we did was line up a stock RXR XP 900 alongside our very own RZR XP 955 and said, “Ready, Set, Go!” At the same time, we shot this little video to prove our point.

Keep in mind, we constructed this speed demon with parts that you can purchase, take home, and install yourself on your own ride. Put it all together and it’s our XP 955 Big Bore Kit. And now you can see the results. We took the fastest UTV out there and made it even faster!
