We’ve got UTV equipment and accessories in more than two-dozen categories, and they’re stacked to the ceilings in our Mesa, Ariz., warehouse. We’ve been in the performance UTV industry ever since there was a performance UTV industry, and we know what works and what doesn’t work. And with the rapid growth of the company and a large inventory, it became apparent that we were all bumping into each other in some pretty tight quarters.

So, in typical DragonFire Racing fashion, we jumped right into expansion mode, moving into an adjoining 3,700-square-foot warehouse and moving our inventory and shipping department right in. When you’re in the business of building top-of-the-line racing equipment, you learn a thing or two about efficiency. And you learn that procrastination is a dirty, filthy 14-letter word.

We had so much fun at last year’s Sand Sports Super Show that we’re packing up all our gear and coming to Costa Mesa, California, Sept. 16 through 18 to do it all again. Each year, the entire power sports industry gets together in Orange County, Calif., to display and show off the latest and greatest in off-road awesomeness.

For more than a dozen years, the Sand Sports Super Show has been among the biggest and most exciting dune and dirt sports expositions to be found, with hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of attendees and plenty of vehicles and gear to browse through. If you missed last year’s show, it’s sort of like going to the off-road crowd’s biggest toy store, mixed in with a car show. And believe us when we say this is definitely an event for the entire family.

So what are we here at DFR adding to the mix? We’ll be rolling our four of the coolest UTVs you’ve seen on or off the road, as well as a bunch of our newest gear from DragonFire. And since you drove all the way to Costa Mesa to see us, we’ll even throw in an instant 10 percent off any order that you place at the show.

On display will be four UTVs, all decked out in DragonFire Racing accessories — all pleasingly presented in our 20-by-30-foot booth in the hangar area at the Orange County Fairgrounds. The 2011 rendition of Dealer Expo was an extremely successful event for us, enabling our team to meet with industry dealers from across the country and talk to them about carrying DFR’s extensive list of products. These powersports dealers had the opportunity to get a close-up-and-personal look at what’s hot and what’s new in the world of DragonFire Racing and off-road UTV products and accessories.

When Warn Industries says show car, they mean they want to “show” you what a Warn customized vehicle can do!

That’s where DFR comes into play. First off, we set them up with one of our new Can-Am Commander cages to add some style — and some safety just in case they roll this bad boy. While we were at it, we had to add power because that’s just pretty much what we do. We installed the new DFR Can-Am Commander ¾-exhaust system by Yoshimura to ensure no hill, nor jump, nor mud hole stands in the way of a great ride.

Those of us who worked hands-on with Warn’s latest product are proud of our contribution to this fine vehicle. This car, which has yet to be named, will be in attendance at all of the major UTV rallies this year, so keep your eyes peeled for a cool-looking ride. Or look for it on the trail next to you — briefly, of course — before the view turns to dust in your face.

And our experienced crew – at the management, design and production levels – is staying ahead of the curve, working closely with all the great UTV builders, as well as the newest cars to hit the market, including the Can Am Commander and the RZR XP 900.

We’re performing extensive testing and development on our products, working side by side with what we believe to be one of the best teams of racers in the UTV world. Our goal is to continue to provide quality products and dependable service to our customers who race, play and recreate using UTVs.

DragonFire returns to Baja with our good friends from Industrial Tire Products (ITP), Carlisle Tire and Black Rock Wheels for the final round of the Ensenada to La Paz desert series that pits 300 vehicles from 37 states and 19 countries on a rugged 1,061-mile trek down the Baja peninsula.

We here at DragonFire are attempting to defend our UTV-winning streak, which would make this a fourth consecutive Baja title in a DragonFire Nessy UTV. Nessy, a Kawasaki Teryx-powered DFR racing car, will attempt to set a new speed and time record in the UTV class. And by checking into Race Dezert, you’ll be able to track the entire race as teams battle it out on the desert floor.
