And in order to make sure you get your goodies in time for the holiday, we’re keeping our doors open up until the very last minute. We’ve got UTV equipment and accessories in more than two-dozen categories, and they’re stacked to the ceilings in our Mesa, Ariz., warehouse. So there’s no excuse for saying you can’t find the perfect gift for you or the UTV rider in your family.

We’re going to be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Mountain Time) Monday through Friday this week and next. We will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, and Monday, Jan 2, 2012, so we can spend time with our family and friends during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

In the meantime, we’ll be busy shipping UTV parts and accessories all the way up until 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, and again — after the holiday break — until the same time on Friday, Dec. 30.

If you’ve found yourself running late on your holiday shopping, check out the UTV parts and accessories we have on clearance or call (800-708-9803) or fax (480-834-4597) us to place your order. Make it snappy, because we just got a load of coal delivered!

Happy Holidays!

Like everything else we do around here at DragonFire Racing, speed and perfection top the charts when it comes to priorities. That holds true for our equipment and more recently, in the expansion of our headquarters in Mesa, Ariz.

We’ve been in the performance UTV industry ever since there was a performance UTV industry, and we know what works and what doesn’t work. And with the rapid growth of the company and a large inventory, it became apparent that we were all bumping into each other in some pretty tight quarters.

So, in typical DragonFire Racing fashion, we jumped right into expansion mode, moving into an adjoining 3,700-square-foot warehouse and moving our inventory and shipping department right in. When you’re in the business of building top-of-the-line racing equipment, you learn a thing or two about efficiency. And you learn that procrastination is a dirty, filthy 14-letter word.

With this move we were able to streamline our shipping for efficiency and expand our current Tech & Fabrication areas. And what this means to you — the DragonFire customer — is that we can now create and ship your gear faster than ever before. And let’s face it; it was pretty fast before the move.

Be sure to keep up with us on our Facebook Page, website and blog for all the latest news and products from DragonFire Racing.

We’re calling our just-published 2012 product catalog Feel the Heat, and DragonFire Racing released this archive of awesome accessories at the recent Sand Sports Super Show in Costa Mesa, Calif., where copies flew out of our booth like they were free — which, of course, they were.

At 52 pages, all in brilliant color, the new catalog is more than double the size of the largest catalog we’ve produced to date. Best yet, it’s available — yes, for free — in two parts as a PDF download. Just visit http://www.dragonfireracing.com/2009-dragonfire-racing-product-catalog.aspx to access the catalog for yourself.

If your nature is more tactile and you feel a need to be able to actually touch pages, you can request a hard copy of the 2012 DragonFire Racing catalog by visiting our offices in Mesa, Ariz., or calling us at (800) 708-9803. Or, we suppose, you could print out the PDF, but that’s going to take a lot of ink.

But once this beauty is in your hands — or on your computer screen — the first thing you’re going to think is, “Boy, those guys at DragonFire Racing sure have some good magazine designers on staff.” That’s because there are hundreds of photographs of UTVs in the desert, UTVs in the air, and UTVs in the forest.

And parts. Lots of parts. All accompanied by descriptions about what the product does and how it’s attached. The catalog starts out, appropriately enough, with a history of the company. That’s followed by our newest/hot products. Other sections of the catalog include:

Safety — Restraints, seats, doors, cages and bumpers

Clutching — Clutch kits, drive belts, OD plates, components, tools, etc.

Motor — Big bore kits, pistons, gaskets, cams, rockers, heads, etc.

Suspension — Long travel kits, replacement arms/shocks, axles, EPS, etc.

Exhaust — Systems for RZR XP, RZR/S/4, Commander and Tyrex

Lighting — LED and HID lighting options

Air Intake — FireBreather Intake Kits and air filter replacements

Accessories — DragonSkins (DFR’s new custom number plate system), billet, mirrors, windshields, silicone hoses, etc.

So go online at http://www.dragonfireracing.com/2009-dragonfire-racing-product-catalog.aspx or give us a call at (800) 708-9803 and we’ll fix you up with our new, full-color catalog for 2012.

We had so much fun at last year’s Sand Sports Super Show that we’re packing up all our gear and coming to Costa Mesa, California, Sept. 16 through 18 to do it all again. Each year, the entire power sports industry gets together in Orange County, Calif., to display and show off the latest and greatest in off-road awesomeness.

For more than a dozen years, the Sand Sports Super Show has been among the biggest and most exciting dune and dirt sports expositions to be found, with hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of attendees and plenty of vehicles and gear to browse through. If you missed last year’s show, it’s sort of like going to the off-road crowd’s biggest toy store, mixed in with a car show. And believe us when we say this is definitely an event for the entire family.

So what are we here at DFR adding to the mix? We’ll be rolling our four of the coolest UTVs you’ve seen on or off the road, as well as a bunch of our newest gear from DragonFire. And since you drove all the way to Costa Mesa to see us, we’ll even throw in an instant 10 percent off any order that you place at the show.

On display will be four UTVs, all decked out in DragonFire Racing accessories — all pleasingly presented in our 20-by-30-foot booth in the hangar area at the Orange County Fairgrounds. We’ll have our DragonFire Ranger XP “Little Monster,” on display, along with our powered-up Kawasaki Teryx 750. Our popular Can-Am Commander will also be on exhibit and you can take a close look at our completely transformed Polaris Ranger RZR 4 Robby Gordon Edition vehicle.

In addition, we’ll have our renowned Ranger Long Travel suspension kit available for purchase, as well as cages, bucket bench seats, HID and LED lighting kits, gauges, panels, doors and pods.

This season’s show hours are from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16; from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18.

The 2011 rendition of Dealer Expo was an extremely successful event for us, enabling our team to meet with industry dealers from across the country and talk to them about carrying DFR’s extensive list of products. These powersports dealers had the opportunity to get a close-up-and-personal look at what’s hot and what’s new in the world of DragonFire Racing and off-road UTV products and accessories.

And, of course, the ultimate winner in this expo exchange is you — our customer — with increased access and service to our products at the local level. Located in the dirt area of Dealer Expo, our primary booth featured the new and decked-out 2011 Polaris RZRS, featuring lots of our latest gear, including:

Today, Warn Industries and DragonFire Racing are back in the news, but this time we’re working together on a show car to promote the legendary winch company’s products for UTVs. Here’s what you need to know:

That’s where DFR comes into play. First off, we set them up with one of our new Can-Am Commander cages to add some style — and some safety just in case they roll this bad boy. While we were at it, we had to add power because that’s just pretty much what we do. We installed the new DFR Can-Am Commander ¾-exhaust system by Yoshimura to ensure no hill, nor jump, nor mud hole stands in the way of a great ride.

Those of us who worked hands-on with Warn’s latest product are proud of our contribution to this fine vehicle. This car, which has yet to be named, will be in attendance at all of the major UTV rallies this year, so keep your eyes peeled for a cool-looking ride. Or look for it on the trail next to you — briefly, of course — before the view turns to dust in your face.

We’ve had a driver’s-eye view to the recent growth of the UTV industry, with more high-performance cars being produced at what appears to be a record pace.

And our experienced crew – at the management, design and production levels – is staying ahead of the curve, working closely with all the great UTV builders, as well as the newest cars to hit the market, including the Can Am Commander and the RZR XP 900.

We’re performing extensive testing and development on our products, working side by side with what we believe to be one of the best teams of racers in the UTV world. Our goal is to continue to provide quality products and dependable service to our customers who race, play and recreate using UTVs.

This year we’re making it even easier to keep up to date with everything we’re turning out. We’ve got an all-new web site at www.DragonFireRacing.com, an improved blog, we’re well represented on Facebook, and we’ll soon be stepping up our game on Twitter and YouTube.

Hang on tight in 2011 because we’re pedal to the metal and nobody’s planning on lifting it any time soon!

From this Friday (Nov. 26) through Cyber Monday (Nov. 29), absolutely everything we offer on DragonFireRacing.com is discounted by 10 percent. There you have it… DragonFire Racing’s first-ever Black & Cyber Sale!

Not only are we knocking down prices for those four days only, but we’re also offering free ground shipping anywhere in the U.S. excluding Alaska and Hawaii (note: the free shipping offer is very similar to a free shipping campaign we ran toward the end of October… see: DragonFire Racing Offering Free Shipping).

The Black & Cyber Sale begins at 12:01 a.m. this Friday, November 26, and continues until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 29. We make shopping and shipping easy, and our website offers thousands of gift ideas for your race buddies — or yourself.

And if you find a product online that you wouldn’t mind having for yourself and you want to drop a hint to your spouse or friend, here’s the plan: Find the “wish list” feature on our site. Then go to the product you’d like to own, and instead of adding the item to your cart, click “add to wish list” and send it to your family or friend. It’s as subtle and simple as that!

No problem. The 43rd Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 — featuring two DragonFire Racing-sponsored teams — can be viewed online with the help of Race Dezert and slick satellite tracking system from TDCOM.

DragonFire returns to Baja with our good friends from Industrial Tire Products (ITP), Carlisle Tire and Black Rock Wheels for the final round of the Ensenada to La Paz desert series that pits 300 vehicles from 37 states and 19 countries on a rugged 1,061-mile trek down the Baja peninsula.

And race coverage is available around the clock via the following links:

Race Dezert: http://www.race-dezert.com/home/baja1000-live-coverage-12322.html

We here at DragonFire are attempting to defend our UTV-winning streak, which would make this a fourth consecutive Baja title in a DragonFire Nessy UTV. Nessy, a Kawasaki Teryx-powered DFR racing car, will attempt to set a new speed and time record in the UTV class. And by checking into Race Dezert, you’ll be able to track the entire race as teams battle it out on the desert floor.

Just click on either of the links above and you can follow our UTV team (No. 1802 with team members Chris Koch, Steve Rone, Nick Summers and Nick Short). You can also watch Class 1 team members — Todd Romano, president and founder of DragonFire Racing, and Dave Roberts, president and CEO of Carlisle Tire — debut in their No. 114 DragonFire Chevy. The pair will co-drive their 700hp unlimited class car with the goal of winning their first overall SCORE International race.

For the first time ever, Race Dezert will feature an unofficial leaderboard displaying corrected times for race leaders. In addition, Race-Dezert team members will be stationed up and down the race course, with checkpoints every 100 miles, equipped with handhelds and reporting what’s happening at all stages of the race.

So if you’re at home or in the office — or even if you’ve joined the madness in Baja — you can find live updates, live video clips and news reports via RaceDezert. And, of course, look here for final race results next week.
