DragonFire Racing has spent the past several years designing the most advanced and best performing performance products in the SXS market. We have developed almost every product from the wheels to the roof top for the SXS industry. Last year we completed our DragonFire Racing offering by introducing our Baja Crippler Bead Lock Wheel, DragonFire Led Light Bar, and our Internal Race and Play Engine Components. These products helped DFR win the Baja 500, and put many of our customers on the podium in GNCC, WORCS, BITD, SCORE and LOORS every weekend. We are the company that has been able to deliver Race level Products for both the Weekend Warrior and the Podium Finisher.

We decided for 2009 and 2010 that we would look at the utility side of this market and are excited to launch our DFR Sport Line. Our new line of Products takes DragonFire Racing into all new markets. We are excited to introduce three new products. DFR By Fox OE replacement shocks, DFR ½ windshield and our new DFR IPod ready Stereo Kit. Look for more DFR Sport Products to come to market over the next 12 months.
You can also follow us on Twitter for the latest DFR updates as well as race and test highlights.

DragonFire Racing, multi-time Baja Champion Larry Roeseler and Team Green Kawasaki will be at Rounds 5 and 6 this weekend in the Lucas Oil Offroad Series.
As the Side-by-Side industry grows, it grows attention. Attention is coming from new sponsors, manufacturers, and drivers. Short course racing has brought a lot of attention to the Side By Side market, and the close racing amongst manufacturers and drivers continues to bring new and talented people into the sport.
Larry Roeseler not only brings talent and positive attention to our sport but a personality that is approachable and a fan base that stretches many generations. Larry is a recognized motorcycle racer with ten overall wins in the Baja 1000, nine overalls at the Baja 500, ten I.S.D.E. Gold Medals and has been inducted into the American Motorcycle Association’s Hall of Fame. Not stopping in his two-wheel winning ways, Larry took to four wheels in 1995 and has since added three more Baja 1000 overalls and also two more Baja 500s, not to mention numerous championships and class wins along the way.
Larry has been a Kawasaki Team Green Rider for 18 years, and continues to be a spokesman for the company. His ability to not only improve a vehicle but to continue its development is what makes this new racing team so exciting. DragonFire Racing has spent the last six months designing this car for Larry, and has made it the most advanced race car on the track.
“I am a very lucky man, being involved in so many different projects over the years, and now this with DragonFire Racing-I’m very excited,” said Roeseler. “I can’t wait for everyone to see this car and team at the LOORS races. It’ll turn some heads, and trust me, we’ll win some races.”
The Teryx Larry will be driving will set a standard for the Side by Side industry and will only help to grow and improve the products that we see available at the manufacturer and aftermarket accessory levels. The DragonFire Team Green Teryx has specifically designed to allow the suspension to provide over 17 inches of wheel travel but still meet the width requirement set forth in the LOORS rules. To handle the 120 horsepower developed by the DFR Teryx motor, the car will have 14-inch ITP tires on all four corners. Type 1 rear axles and CVs with inboard hubs and disc brakes were developed to accommodate the horsepower and CV angle. Developments in the steering system include new front steer spindles, custom racks, quick steer and a steering damper. All-new A-arms were designed, with 24-inch Fox shocks mounted to the lower arms both front and rear, keeping the roll center of the car as low as possible. Fox designed all-new shocks with 8-inch remote reservoirs for increased cooling capacity, as well as larger-diameter shock bodies and shock shafts to enhance the increased travel. A hanging racing billet brake pedal with a remote reservoir was developed to provide more space in the driving compartment. Race Pack created a digital dash that displays RPM, speed, water and oil temperatures and oil pressure, as well as shock temperature, allowing the driver to manage all the key functions of the vehicle.

The Class 1 car driven by Todd Romano and Navigated by Jack Mc Cormick raced bumper to Bumper for 400 Miles. There was a pack of 6 of us that ran together the entire day, Park House, Letner’s, Herbts, COPS, and the Danzio car traded positions all day. There was some amazing passing at race speed with the Herbts, and the Danzio Car.

Our Trophy Truck lost a brake Line at RM 20 that kept it with the Class 1 cars most of the day. We passed each other several times throughout the day. Pistol was able to still finish 10th with the few challenges he had.

DragonFire Racing Polaris Ranger RZR Performance Controller

Due to EPA regulations, The Factory fuel setting makes the RZR Rich on Bottom and Lean on Top. The DFR Controller comes with a Standard Setting to increase power through the entire power band; it will also have the ability to be tuned for aftermarket exhaust, and will come set up with a calibration for the DragonFire Performance Exhaust. There is also and O2 Sensor that can be purchased that will allow the computer to adjust with climate and elevation changes. Make you RZR the fastest RZR in the dirt. DragonFire Racing G3 Fuel Controller the right choice for RZR performance. Aftermarket Controller with increased RPM Increased RPM only helps a vehicle if it is clutched to do so, and if it creates additional HP beyond the current RPM. If your vehicles final drive is 5850 RMP then additional RMP will only help in an overdrive situation. This will happen on concrete only. The stock motor revs to 6500 RPM. In the sand the vehicle does not have the HP or TQ to pull any additional RPM, nor is a clutch designed to pull any increased RPM. The second concern with RMP exceeding 6500 is that the Crank starts orbiting and that the motor will self destruct. There is nothing to hold the RZR Crank in place. 6500 RMP is the Happy spot for the RZR. Outside of being the fastest RZR on concrete there is no additional benefit. We have seen Cranks and push rods destroyed while increasing RPM. DFR Stage 2 Clutch Kit This is necessary when adding the additional HP that comes with our RZR Controller, intake and DFR RZR Full Exhaust. You can not increase power with out proper clutching. We increase the low end Drive squeeze, the RZR gains tremendous low and mid acceleration. 5850 is final Drive RPM, with 26 inch tires the RZR will do 62 MPH Removing RZR Factory Spacer: DO NOT REMOVE: By removing the OE spacer you will create extra overdrive and but at the same time you will compromise your vehicles back shifting. The vehicle will be slower to come out of overdrive, and will constantly pulling too tall of a gear. The second major concern is the belt now rides two low in the secondary. The sheeves that belt rides in have a machined taper. At a certain point, the point where the stock spacer limits the sheeve, there is no more taper, the belt will become stuck below the taper causing damage to the clutch and belt, and potential the driver if it bound the motor. Many people have found that this happens while going down hill at high speed. DFR RZR Belt Rated to 100 HP Heat and HP compromise belts. The DFR RZR belt is designed for both and will allow for heavy load as well as horse power.
