We’re currently holding a sale on a pair of our most popular products, but we don’t want you to panic when we tell you that “currently” means “until supplies run out.” Again, no panic, but we have absolutely no idea when the inventory will run out. We’re thinking better to order now than never, but it’s really up to you.

Kawasaki Teryx Slip-On Exhaust

First off, we’ve got the Kawasaki Teryx Slip-On Exhaust, which is one of the first things drivers usually purchase to add performance to their UTV. We’re selling them for $249.99, which is a $275 savings off the usual $524.99 price tag. Again, act fast!

And to complicate your addiction to power, we’re suggesting you also purchase a DFR Intake system and DFR Clutch kit for a killer performance boost with a low price tag.

Designed for the Teryx 750, the DFR Slip-On Exhaust bolts-into-place allowing more air flow, which translates into better performance. It’s one of the most inexpensive ways to add some major juice to your ride — even without the sale price. Best yet, you can do the switchout yourself in less than an hour with a standard/metric wrench or socket set.

Next on the sales list is our cooler than cool DFR Graphics Packages for Rhino, RZR and Teryx. Now available at the lowest price ever (all kits are just

DFR Graphics Packages for Rhino, RZR and Teryx

$199.99), these are complete graphic packages with decals for the hood, fenders and sides. Made of super thick and tough vinyl with 3M adhesive, these kits will not only stay in place but they’ll take a beating and still look good. Simple to install on any factory plastic kit. And they’re ideal for a UTV that’s been out on the trail for awhile and has suffered a variety of scratches or blemishes. Many different color options are available. But like we said before, you best order now while supplies last.

Last year we trotted out brand new DragonFire Racing half windshields for your side-by-side and you responded by buying them up like they were selling at half price. Well, it’s been a year and we’ve decided to slash the price on these popular windshields — not by half, mind you — but pretty darned close.

How does $119.99 sound for a half-shield for your Rhino? That’s a 42 percent savings off the $205.99 price just last week. Gives you an extra $86 in your pocket. Or how about $139.99 instead of $205.99 for a new half windshield on your Teryx, saving you 32 percent or $66 — whichever way you decide to look at it? Finally, you can get a half windshield for your RZR for $125.99 instead of $165.99 — a savings of $40, or 24 percent.

Designed to custom fit your Rhino, RZR or Teryx ’chine, these half windshields are made of tough Lexan and feature a graphic at the bottom that cuts down on dashboard glare. A lip at the top reduces vibration and increases protection. And all the necessary mounting hardware is included.

Half shields are actually better at deflecting dust and wind from a driver’s face by diverting such flotsam and jetsam over the driver’s head. A full windshield has a tendency to suck the wind and dust back into the vehicle. Thus, half is better than whole when it comes for warmth and comfort behind the wheel of your SXS.

How long will this special pricing be available? Until further notice, say our bean counters. It’s basically a permanent reduction. No rush. Unless we run out. And then you’ll be sorry!

The way we figure it, when Kyle wins, everybody wins. DFR-sponsored driver Kyle Melville took first place in the SuperStock UTV class at the 2011 Cal City 100 last month on DragonFire Racing suspension and we were so stoked, we decided to celebrate the win by offering that same suspension kit to all of you — our customers — for a huge discount.

Just how huge a discount, you ask? How about a $559.99 savings on our Black Magic Polaris Ranger RZR Suspension Plus-6 Long Travel? This is a state-of-the-art suspension system that features lightweight chromoly-plated boxed A-arms, 300M axles and Fox coilover shocks. The suspension travel is more than 13 inches per kit and this is a replacement kit. It uses remote rear and front shock towers to bring you the proper shock ratios and structural support that you’ll need for the increased travel.

So, thanks again Kyle — for providing us with some pretty exciting rain-soaked racing in mid-February. The Cal City competition, which was produced by Alta Vista Events and is part of the Super Course Series, was a 100-mile race made up of four 25-mile laps. The win firmly established Kyle as a top contender in 2011.

And if you’re interested in joining Kyle in the winner’s circle and pick up the RZR Long Travel Suspension Kit for nearly $560 off the regular price, you should know that the deal is only available by phone. Call us at 1-866-926-6169 and tell whoever answers the phone that you’re interested in the “Kyle Melville Special.”

If you’ve got a Kawasaki Teryx 750, or you’re about to get the new 2011Kawasaki Teryx 750, we don’t know how you’re going to sleep at night waiting for Feb. 1.

Because on that fine morning, DragonFire Racing is introducing the all-new dual exhaust created in tandem with the development team at Yoshimura and targeting the 2008-2010 Teryx 750 model. This sleek setup features an all-billet clamp-on mounting system that is compatible with all DFR aftermarket performance products as well as our legendary Long Travel Kits.

Best yet, this dual exhaust system promises enormous power gains over the Teryx stock system. Huge power gains, in fact! These dual “deep-toned” high-performance mufflers outperform stock exhaust systems throughout the entire rpm range.

The exhaust system is constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel, and that includes stainless steel spring-secured tubing for durability, fit and ease of installation. The header and tailpipes are polished 18-gauge 304 stainless steel CNC mandrel bent construction with argon-purged MIG weld construction.

Features of the muffler include a 20-gauge 304 stainless steel, CNC rolled, robot welded canister shell, polished 304 stainless steel deep-draw end caps, anodized billet aluminum “no drill” mounting brackets and rubber mounting bushings for durability (say that two times fast). The rivets are stainless steel and closed-end, and the muffler features “Silent Sport” premium packing.

For more information, visit our website on February 1, 2011. In the meantime, check out this Dyno Chart: for the DFR Yoshimura Dual Exhaust:

It’s a physics thing but they say minimal drag equals increased horsepower. That means our special-made UTV Skat Track Sand Tires provide a larger footprint, which allows you to stay on top of the sand instead of digging into it with knobby tires. And these tires actually grip better, giving you and your UTV a much more rewarding driving experience.

With these tires, you not only gain great traction in the sand, but you float across the dunes with minimal drag — and that means more horsepower and more speed. That also means you’ll be able to tackle those big steep dunes that maybe you used to watch your friends tackle. DragonFire Racing Paddles and Smoothies provide a larger foot print meaning you will stay on top of the sand as opposed to digging in with knobby tires.

There’s also another edict in physics that claims weight is horsepower. Our Skat Track buffed tires are the lightest sand tires you can find for your UTV. And before you ask, we suggest you run our buffed Paddles (12RX7X25) on the rear and our Smoothies (12RX7X25) up front. Why Smoothies in the front, you ask? Don’t be fooled by these bald beauties. Truth is, they act like suction cups in the sand and they provide enough float to turn at any speed, allowing your vehicle to climb faster and further than it ever has before.

The seven-paddle tires on the other hand, are perfect for your UTV because they allow just enough tire spin at takeoff to let the CVT-style clutch gain some rpm before putting the power to the ground.

Check them out at: http://www.dragonfireracing.com/skat-track-paddles.aspx. Then buy a set for your next desert trip. This is one of those items that’s pretty much guaranteed to add immeasurably to your sand adventures.

It was a weekend to remember, 8,000 feet high in the mountains near Park City, Utah, with a trail system that took visitors everywhere — from quiet snowfields to rugged peaks overlooking some of the most majestic scenery available in the Beehive State.

This July’s event was made possible with factory support from Yamaha, Warn Industries, Triple S Polaris, MTA, ITP and of course, DragonFire Racing. These sponsors’ efforts resulted in a memorable four days for all the riders who participated in sky-high adventures seated in their side-by-side. We had Larry Roeseler, 12-time SCORE International Baja 1000 overall winner from Team Green Kawasaki with us all weekend. We also had Cam McQueen from Nitro Circus. Both of these racers lead our groups on some of the best single-track and two-track rides the Uinta National Forest had to offer.

And the romping and stomping didn’t stop at sundown. Some of the most exciting events occurred after darkness fell, when a mass of off-road vehicles – equipped with DragonFire LED light bars — lit up the forest on the high ridge on beautiful moonlight excursions. From start to finish, “Madness in the Mountains” was an enormous success.

Most of all, we’d like to thank Daniels Summit Lodge and its friendly and helpful staff for providing hospitality and superb support to our staff and customers. Also, a shout out for the Uinta National Forest crew for preparing and maintaining such an amazing riding area, and for keeping the trails safe and marked. And thanks for those who attended, bringing along their ATVs, UTVs and two-wheel bikes to scoot around this mountain-high paradise. “Madness in the Mountains” brought new friends and new trails together, thanks to all that supported and attended the event.

Stay tuned to our blog for upcoming posts on the possibility of next July’s event.
